Property developer Emaar has announced this year’s celebration at Burj Khalifa will be bigger, better and more spectacular for 2025/26. Oh, we love to see it.
In true Dubai fashion, the fun isn’t just for one night only; the epic celebrations now run for a whole week, from Wednesday, December 31, to Wednesday, January 7. This means there’s plenty of time to catch the action across core spots like the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Mall promenade and the fountains.
However, the main event is all about New Year’s Eve with fireworks, lasers and loads more excitement packed into the evening.
Burj Park is back this year as one of the best places to catch the magic, offering great views of the fireworks and laser shows without the usual city crowds.
This year, there’s a special Bollywood twist thanks to a collaboration with Frontstage, part of Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chilies Entertainment. Families can enjoy kids’ workshops, food trucks and live performances, making it a fun night out for the whole gang.
The celebration will also feature a grand parade with floats, performers and puppets moving through Downtown, adding even more excitement.
Every corner of Downtown Dubai will have something happening, from aerial stunts to visual effects, making it a full-on multi-sensory experience.

What to expect at the Burj Khalifa New Year’s Eve show
This year’s celebrations at Burj Park will come with a touch of Bollywood flair as Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chilies Entertainment are involved with the show.
The fireworks show will also feature immersive light and laser shows, live performances and stunning views of Burj Khalifa and the recently reopened Dubai Fountain show.
While the show itself will be visible for free across the city, tickets to Burj Park provide a clear view of the NYE show, live entertainment, kids’ workshops and access to food trucks and stalls. Doors for the New Year’s Eve event are open from noon.
